Content Analysis --------------------------------
| Broadcasters' Logs |
Using ContentAnalyzer, aMap compiles the broadcasters' logs (Program logs) everyday. These logs contain the detailed description of the content telecast by a given TV station. A typical structure for the broadcasters' logs is:
 |
- Category
- Program
- Promotional
- Advertisement
- Language
- Live/Recorded
- Start time
- End time
- Duration
- Content code
- Classification
|
The data is provided in flat file format. The daily logs are ready 24 hours after the end of the TV day. A TV day is defined to start at 2:00 AM and end at 2:00 AM on the next day.
These reports are available for download from our secure servers, to the subscribers of aMap. |

| Content Analyzer |
|
ContentAnalyzer is aMap's proprietary content analysis tool for analyzing the contents of a film recorded in mpeg format. This tool consists of two key modules. The first module is used to bookmark an mpeg file at desired locations. It can play an mpeg file in forward and reverse directions at various speeds (at normal, and 2, 3, 4, and 8 times the normal speed, and frame-by-frame). The second module enables the users to define database structure and enter content description for each segment (a segment is the length of film between two consecutive bookmarks) in the database fields created. This application works with MS Access database.
